We thought a gym is so much more fun than a living room. The sofa is sold and instead we now have a home gym. Together with Master Fitness we have everything we need. We will show you workouts you can do at home every month. Both with equipment and without.
We have a Master S90 skitrainer, a Master R6040 rower and an Assault Fitness Airbike. You’ll find it here.
We will post workout every month that you can do at home. We hope you will like them .
Croatia is our favourite country. It may be because we met there. This time we were back on the island to participate in ÖtillÖ which you can read more about here.We stayed at the amazing Amfora Hotel. There were great nice rooms and amazing views over the sea.
The day after the race we had the opportunity to go with a sponsor boat to follow the longer ÖtillÖ race. (We did the sprint) It was fun to see the race from the other side.
After the race we ate at the restaurant Luna which is a little hidden behind the big streets. Super good food and really recommended.
We also took the opportunity to swim and do a swimrun session. We love to be back soon again. Here is s short video from our swim.
We did the ÖtillÖ Swimrun sprint race in Hvar, Croatia!
It was so awesome and beautiful. Very varm and nice weather. The water was like a dream, as usual. The race was around 12 k in total.
We came in 5th place in the mix class 🥳🤩, check this video if you want to see more from our race.
Last year we tried swimrun for the first time. We did several races like Koster, Rockman Pyrenees, Stora Stöten swimrun and Bali Hope Swimrun. We got hooked on the first race! From the start we wanted to do a race like ÖtillÖ. ÖtillÖ is the world championship in swimrun. The race take part in september in Stockholm archipelago and it’s a total of 65 km running and 10 km swimming. ÖtillÖ also has a series of races during the year. This year we will do 3 of the races.
The first race is this upcoming weekend in Croatia on the island of Hvar. We will participate in the sprint race which is a total of 10 km running and 1.6 km swimming. A perfect race to start the season with. We are still beginners in swimrun so the focus will be on having a fun race and gain more experience for upcoming races that are both tougher and longer. The longest race we will participate in this year is ÖtillÖ engadin in July in the Swiss Alps.
We’re really looking forward to start of this season in Croatia this weekend.
We have had the opportunity to test the backpack Strive Light 5 from Swedish Silva and are pleasantly surprised. It is a stable and flexible backpack with many adjustment possibilities. The backpack can hold 5 liters of packing, which is perfect for running in a few hours. The design is stylish, it’s slim to the back, which means it does not skim around. There are many compartments for gels and mobile phones as well as room for liquid by having a liquid blower at the back or bottles on the chest. The backpack also works great for use without a sweater, as it does not give any shafe.
Silva Strive Light 5 has a relatively low price and a good quality. We often use it in training and have had it on several longer races.
We know that flights are not the best for the environment. Our biggest climate impact is through the flight, so we have chosen to carbon offset for our trips last year but also this year. We are also aware of what we can do about the environment when we travel and thought it would be great to sharing some tips.
- First, look for the train alternatives.
- If you need to fly. Direct flights are better than stops
- Climate compensate your travel trip
- Choose a hotel with some type of sustainability or eco-label.
- Turn off the lamp door and turn off the air conditioner when not needed.
- Be scarce with the water in the shower.
- Recycle the towel in the hotel room.
To limit climate change, we need to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases, for example by choosing climate-smart transportation, using green electricity, and eating more plant-based food. But no matter how ambitious you are, you’re still going to have a carbon footprint.
Carbon offsetting means that you pay to reduce emissions equivalent to your own through certified climate projects in developing countries. A project can, for example, involve conserving and planting forests or replacing dirty coal power with solar or wind power. By carbon offsetting, you contribute to reducing emissions where you can have the biggest impact! In a world where over 80% of our energy comes from fossil fuels, your carbon offsets make a real and guaranteed benefit for our climate.

We found a dark winter trail run in Gothenburg this weekend and decided to race as a training race. We stopped by at 2xu Swedens office and picked up some new reflecting clothes. You can find the clothes here.
Then of to the race Sandsjöbacka trail. We picked up our bibs and then race time. This was our first dark trail run together. Super fun and you can see more from the race in this short video.
We checked in at Scandic Opalen after the race. A hotel prefekt located in Gothenburg. A great hotel with a nice view over Gothenburg and it was an amazing breakfast.
Bali Hope Swimrun
It was finally time to meet the other team. Bali Hope Swimrun is a big event when 10 teams from 6 different countries meet for 5 days. A Big thanks to everyone who supported us through the Bali Hope Swimrun event. Together the entire teams raised more than $40,000 USD! All proceeds are going directly to upgrading the recycling facility on Nusa Lembongan so the island can become more sustainable and deal with plastic consumption and pollution. We are grateful for being apart in this event. Combine doing a fun race for a good reason.
During these days we got to know all the other amazing teams. We have been visited a School were the kids get education about the environment and at the same time learning english. We went to see the recycling centre that gets about 2 tons of plastic everyday but just can handle around 300 kg every day.
We had a clean up meeting with teams and kids and it was amazing to see the differens in just one hour.
And the main event these days was the Swimrun. 20 k in total with swimming and running and Lembongan and cenengan. We are not really used to this climate so it was a little bit difficult with the heath. This is a short video from the race.
Simple things you can do in your country to reduce the plastic. Say no to plastic bottles, bags, straws and copper when there is opportunity.
Our fundraising page is open some more weeks if you want to donate.
After a long flight from Sweden we arrived at Bali and our first stop was Tugu Hotel in Canggu. This is a hotel close to the beach and we got a big room. We really liked the eco friendly thinking with more paper and glas than plastic. Its a big hotel and the personal was were friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm even if it’s close to more stressful area by the beach.
After an amazing breakfast day number two we went for exploring some waterfalls. The first stop was at Tegenungan waterfall. This i a famous waterfall and you feel it when you come because it’s a lot of tourists. It was cool but we wanted to see a more secret one. Next stop was Nung Nung waterfalls. You have to go around 600 steps down reach the waterfall but when your there its amazing. We tried to swim close but it was really strong an almost impossible. Amazing views.
Back at the hotel we enjoyed some massage at the spa. This is really a hotel we liked to stay at. See you soon again.
